Montreal, 2015. Sand dunes facing endless expanses of snow. In search of roots, a singer-songwriter, Chakib Kouidri, launches the Nomad ben Stones project.

“Et le monde danse…” takes the form of a red thread and gives its name to a very eclectic first album, a draft of a burgeoning project. It is a formula that is a source of hope. It reminds us that dancing allows the voiceless to express themselves, and that there is no greater claim than dancing together.

Voted Révélations Radio-Canada in world music, the group then hits the road, from Quebec to Montreal, then Toronto to New York, and across the ocean from France to Mauritania.
